My answer: With bidder identities protected there is no way of knowing .
Question concerning ebay Negative feedbacks
Why does ebay still let negative feedback sellers continue selling on ebay ?
My answer: ebay is only concerned about ebays profits not your losses. I tell people if you are not satisfied post negative feedbacks
as it may be the only way to set those sellers straight.
Question concerning ebay Insurance
Why do sellers require the buyer pay insurance ?
My answer: I feel it should be the seller that is responsible for you receiving their product, the only one benefiting with this practice
is the U.S. Postal Service.
Question concerning ebay Shipping charges
Why do most all the sellers on ebay make us pay such outrageous shipping and handling charges, priority mailing instead of first class.
My answer: This is a hard one to answer there are costs involved in packing materials and Priority mailing in most cases is the best
option. Some sellers make a tidy profit on overcharging for shipping and handling its their way of squeezing out the last dollar, your
best option here is to complain to the seller about overcharges.
Question about my trading pricing
How do you determine the prices you place on your traders ?
My answer: There are many factors that I have to consider when I place a price on my traders, foremost are my cost then scarcity
and popularity, some states have very little to choose from while other states are very abundant the state could be very common a
scarcity #1 but a few pieces could be very scarce or rare also the type of glass may determine a higher value, values will always be
in question as it differs between individual taste in collecting. Dose cup values Eventually with all the time I put into research all the
pieces will fall into place, keep in mind I have been putting all the pieces of this dose cup puzzle together in just two years no one
else in their right mind would take on such a time consuming task, my being old with nothing better to do with my time sure helps.
Hopefully after I am gone someone else will take up where I leave off.
Question as to why I sell from my collections
Why do you sell your better dose cups from your collections ?
I get a lot of satisfaction helping others build on their collections as I know how hard it is to build a collection, but I still try to build on
my own collections, many collectors will not part with any of their dose cups in fear that they will be getting the short end of the
stick, I have found in my 55 years of collecting many different things that in the end it all evens out. I also have to sell in order to keep
this site up and running.
