Burdines became part of Federated Department Stores, Inc (now Macy's, Inc.) in 1956
Burdine's was the name of a large retail division owned and operated by Federated Department Stores. Burdines became
Macy's several years back. I am not familiar with any of the Federated stores, under any name, operating pharmacies.
I can speak with some knowledge about Federated as I was a part-time employee there for many years and have family
members that are retired from Federated.

one here in Tallahassee. There used to be
