I collect all Minnesota dose cups, the state I was born in and trying to build a collection.

My living will.
I, ________________________, being of sound mind and body, I do not wish
to be kept alive indefinitely by artificial means.
Under no circumstances should my fate be put in the hands of pinhead politicians who
couldn't pass ninth-grade biology if their lives depended on it. Nor in the hands of
lawyers/ doctors who are interested simply in running up the bills.

If a reasonable amount of time passes and I fail to ask for at least one of the following:
Bloody Mary, Strawberry Margarita, Scotch & soda, Martini, Vodka & Tonic, A cold beer,
steak, Lobster or crab legs, the remote control, bowl of ice cream, the sports page,
chocolate, or sex it should be presumed that I won't ever get better.

When such a determination is reached, I hereby instruct my appointed person and
attending physicians to pull the plug, reel in the tubes and call it a day.

At this point, it is time to call a New Orleans Jazz Funeral Band to come do their thing
at my funeral, and ask all of my friends to raise their glasses to toast the good times
we have had.

I also hear that in Ireland they have a Nursing Home with a Pub.
The patients are happier and they have a lot more visitors.

Many collectors are unwilling to share what they know or what they have with other
collectors in fear that it will make it harder for them to acquire medicine glasses that
others have for their collections, by setting up this web site I have upset that apple
cart and also have created some animosity. These collectors were willing to share
what they have with others and I am grateful with them for doing so.

When I started this web site there was virtually nothing out there for the collectors to
base values or knowledge about medicine glasses, they were always just considered
go-withs for bottle collectors. Only a few serious collectors knew that many were
more scarce and had greater values than others, that was why I set up a rarity scale
for each state, it was the first step in trying to establish their scarcities.

Its been a slow process gathering this information, its usually been one piece at a
time but I now have listings of close to 4,000 different dose cups and have many in my
own collections, I would hope that after I am gone someone else will take the time to
also share data with others. I am now 78 years of age and soon may have to give up
my collecting its a time consuming effort but I do enjoy doing it.
