| St. Joseph Drug Company http://www.goetzedental.com/today.html Back in 1884... The St. Joseph Drug Company, a retail drug store located in St. Joseph , Missouri, founder, W.F. Goetze, MD, quickly realized there was a demand for more than just selling the retail drug items he stocked in his drug store. Dr. Goetze expanded his business to the distribution of medical supplies to physicians, dentists, and veterinarians. In the early 1900's, Dr. Goetze partnered with his brother-in-law and the business became known as Goetze-Niemer. 1994... Today, Goetze Dental is still family owned and operated by the fifth generation of the Goetze family. In 1994, the decision was made to spin off the medical supply division and direct our focus exclusively on dental. At the time of this decision, it was also determined to drop the Niemer from the company name and become Goetze Dental. |
